Waiting...

I'm sitting at work, waiting for clients to send through their amendments. I take the moment to peruse my much ignored blog. I'm reminded that I was keeping a list of reading and movies seen this year, and I'm disappointed with myself that I've allowed it to lapse. But then I wonder how many books I've actually managed to complete since my last update. I have a lot of briefly dipped into books, but I think my completion rate has been pretty dismal of late. [I've just managed to finish one, and at last have a reason to update! So Many Selves by Gabrielle Carey, co-author of Puberty Blues, which opened my eyes to a whole different world of teenage experience when I was but a young thing.]

My movie-going track record has been equally disappointing. I don't recall the last one I've managed to see... even though there have been plenty I mentally noted that I'd like to see, by the time I got to planning to see it, it had finished at the cinemas. I'm going to remedy this, though. Soon. Tomorrow, even!

I can hear a co-worker on the phone to the client. I shall have to cut this short.
